Serina is an active young girl who can often be found singing her favorite songs anywhere she goes. She looks forward to going to school each day, especially when she gets to practice her reading skills. Even at her young age, Serina already dreams of becoming a nurse one day.
Unfortunately, Serina is no stranger to poverty. Both of her parents work endlessly to find work in order to provide for their eight children, but frequently come home empty-handed. With such a large family and very low incomes, they often struggle to make ends meet. Serina with things like nutritious food, durable clothing, and a continuing education.
