Samuel is a humble boy who has a passion for helping others. That’s part of the reason why he wants to become a doctor when he grows up. He is working hard to do well in school, and science is his favorite subject. In his free time, you can often find Samuel playing soccer with his friends.
Samuel is very familiar with poverty and hardship. His parents do their best to provide for him and his two sisters, but they don’t have a reliable source of income. Instead, they work whatever odd jobs they can find around their community, which usually don’t pay very well. Sponsorship will provide Samuel with things like nutritious meals, medical care, and a quality education.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
