Lucky is an outgoing young girl who loves to spend time with her friends and family. Currently enrolled in school, she has taken a special interest in her English courses and is doing very well. When Lucky isn?t in class, she enjoys singing and dancing. One day, with a desire to educate and mentor other children like herself, she hopes to become a teacher. Lucky?s life has not been easy. Her mother and father work odd jobs as peasants and struggle to bring in a steady income. More often than not, her basic needs go unmet. Sponsorship will provide Lucky with things like nutritious meals, durable clothing, basic medical care, and a quality education.

How Sponsorship Works
![](/wp-content/themes/worldhelp/images/csp/step-one.png)
Choose a child to sponsor from the country of your choice
![](/wp-content/themes/worldhelp/images/csp/step-two.png)
Receive your welcome packet in the mail with more info on your child

Continue giving monthly or annually to meet your child's needs and write letters to stay in touch
Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
