Sharon is a disciplined and well-behaved young girl. She excels in all of her classes, and her favorite is writing. When not in school, she can often be heard singing her favorite songs throughout the village. Sharon dreams of one day becoming a doctor so that she can help people in need. Sharon lives with her poor and elderly grandmother. Her parents left to work in a remote area of Uganda but never returned, and she has not heard from them since. Sharon?s grandmother does not have the means to care for or educate Sharon, and she struggles to find work. Sponsorship will provide Sharon with things like nutritious meals, durable clothing, and a quality education.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
