Tawufik has displayed a genuine interest in learning at school; he pays close attention when the teachers go over their lessons. He also enjoys running and playing soccer with his friends. Tawufik still has plenty of time to decide what he wants to do in the future, but for now, he wants to become a doctor and learn how to heal others. Tawufik and his family are familiar with life in poverty. His parents are considered peasants due to their economic status; they go from job to job trying to maintain a source of income. Tawufik?s parents know that their son will excel if they can afford to keep him in school. Through sponsorship, Tawufik will receive things like nutritious meals and a continuing education.

How Sponsorship Works
Choose a child to sponsor from the country of your choice
Receive your welcome packet in the mail with more info on your child
Continue giving monthly or annually to meet your child's needs and write letters to stay in touch
Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
