Franklin is a social and well behaved young girl with a compassionate personality. As she is just starting school, she especially enjoys practicing her creativity in art class each day. Even at a young age, Franklin has big ambitions to study and become a successful doctor in her village when she grows up. But for now, she is content playing soccer with her friends every afternoon. Franklin has been surrounded by significant poverty during her young life. Though her parents work hard as farmers, they do not make enough money to care for her basic needs. Through sponsorship, Franklin will now receive things like nutritious food and a continuing education.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
