Beatrice is a friendly and active young girl who loves playing netball with her friends and other village children. While in school, she enjoys learning new subjects and solving mathematic equations. Beatrice dreams of becoming a teacher so she can share her love of learning. Beatrice?s parents wish that they could do more for their daughter. The work that they find as peasants is not nearly enough to continually provide food and educational opportunities. Beatrice must often go without basic necessities.
