Sheila is a happy little girl that loves riding her bicycle and playing dodgeball with her friends in her free time. She enjoys attending school and especially likes her English language class. Sheila hopes to become a nurse when she grows up so she can help the sick in her community.
Sheila is no stranger to poverty. Her mom and grandmother do their best to provide for her after her father left, but they make only small daily wages from doing odd jobs around the village. They rarely make enough to afford everything she needs. Through sponsorship, Sheila will receive things like nutritious meals, durable clothing, and a quality education.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
