Doreen is a quiet little girl who enjoys singing and playing soccer with her friends. She loves going to school and learning how to read and write in her English language class. She works hard in school and looks forward to becoming a pilot someday so she can learn more about the world.
Doreen is the youngest of eight children, and her mother has struggled to provide for such a large family on her own ever since Doreen’s father died. They have only a very small source of income, and every day is a battle to make ends meet.
