Gideon may be shy, but he comes out of his shell when he gets to play soccer and ride his bicycle with his friends. He also enjoys going to school and has taken a special interest in writing in his English class. With big dreams for the future, Gideon wants to serve his community as a police officer one day.
Sadly, Gideon’s parents are no longer in his life, so he stays with his grandmother. She does her best to care for him by working odd jobs around their community, but she makes less than a dollar a day. As a result, she struggles to meet Gideon’s basic needs. Sponsorship will provide Gideon with things like nutritious meals and a quality education.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
