This summer, thousands of children from across India were able to attend Vacation Bible School. Many of them heard about Jesus for the first time — all because of you!

Your giving enabled these children to find Christian mentors, hear the Gospel, and take home a Bible workbook to share with their family and friends. All through the slums of India, children have new hope because of your gift.

Aman’s story

Aman is a ninth grader at a public school in India. This year was his first time attending Vacation Bible School. He said he learned many lessons and is looking forward to sharing his new knowledge with his friends and classmates.

“I learned that we should trust in the Lord because God has a plan for everyone,” he said.

Aman loved listening intently to Bible stories and accounts about missionaries, and he always looked for ways he could apply them to his own life. At the end of VBS, he received the best student award!

“I would love to live my life as a useful vessel for Jesus. Praise the Lord!” Aman said.

Priya’s story

For Priya, this year’s Vacation Bible School was life changing. She discovered many biblical truths, including that her life is a gift from God. She was excited to hear the stories of Moses, David, Abraham, and Jesus.

Priya learned about the importance of giving her life to Jesus, and by the end of the week, she knew she wanted to take the next step. She talked to her teacher, who helped her pray to give her life to Jesus!

Now Priya wants to share the Good News with her friends and family so they can have the joy she found through Christ.

“I decided that I will obey the Lord,” Priya said. “Everything I learned from VBS I will share with others so that they can believe in Jesus, too!”
