Jose may be shy, but he lights up when he gets to play soccer or ride his bike with his friends. He works hard in school and especially enjoys working with numbers in his math class. When he grows up, Jose dreams of becoming a professional soccer player.
Jose is all too familiar with poverty. His father is a farmer, and his mother sells clothes for extra income, but what they earn is small and inconsistent, making it hard to meet daily needs. Sponsorship will provide Jose with things like nutritious meals and a quality education.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
