Walter is a shy and creative boy who enjoys drawing pictures with his closest friends. He works hard to earn good grades in school, and his favorite subject is math, where he enjoys solving problems and learning new concepts. When he grows up, Walter hopes to become a police officer so he can help keep his loved ones safe.
Walter is no stranger to hardship. His father works long hours in landscaping, and his mother washes clothes for others, but their combined income is still not enough to meet Walter’s daily needs. Most days, it is difficult for them to provide him with even his basic necessities. Sponsorship will provide Walter with things like nutritious meals and a quality education.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
