Marbeli is a creative and outgoing girl who enjoys drawing pictures with her friends. She looks forward to school each day, and her favorite subject is language arts, where she works hard at reading and writing. When she grows up, Marbeli dreams of becoming a veterinarian so she can care for animals.
Marbeli is no stranger to poverty. Her mother works as a housekeeper, and her father works in construction, but despite their hard work, they earn very little for their efforts.
