Meet Alondra Michelle

ID: HNDJAN975

Alondra is a friendly and creative girl who enjoys drawing pictures in her free time. She looks forward to going to school each day and especially enjoys her science class, where she learns about the world around her. When she grows up, Alondra dreams of becoming a teacher so she can pass down her passion for learning to the next generation.

Alondra is no stranger to hardship. With her father no longer in the picture, her mother is the sole provider for Alondra and her siblings. She works long hours at a shrimp processing factory, but the small income she earns is not enough to provide for Alondra’s daily needs. Sponsorship will provide Alondra with things like nutritious meals and a quality education.

“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”

— Lita, Kentucky

“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”

— Kayla, Virginia

“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”

— Margaret, California
