P. Jessica is a quiet, but friendly, young girl who enjoys helping people. In her free time, she can often be found singing her favorite songs while she goes about her day. P. Jessica has just begun school and, although she loves to attend all of her classes, she likes learning English the best. P. Jessica has already known a lot of poverty in her short life. Her father works hard as an accountant, but what he makes is never enough. Her mother has to stay home to care for P. Jessica and her sister, so she is unable to help financially. Sponsorship gives P. Jessica access to things like educational assistance and basic medical care.

About India
India is a nation that is little more than one-third the size of the United States with a population nearly four times larger. India contains diverse landscape including sprawling deserts, the soaring Himalayan peaks, and tropical coastlines.
Rich in cultural heritage and historical significance, India has become a major economic force in the world. In spite of its recent economic boom, income inequality continues to plague society with almost 58 percent of Indians living on less than three U.S. dollars per day. Several large urban centers contain some of the world’s densest slums where people struggle with limited access to clean water, sanitation, and medical care.
Although education remains a top priority for families, many public schools are overcrowded and understaffed, and parents struggle to afford school fees and supplies.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
