Rose is talkative and friendly, but likes to spend time alone, especially when she has a good book. At school, her favorite subject is history, and in the future she hopes to continue her education and study to become a nurse so she can help people in her village. Rose's mother died when she was only two years old after a miscarriage turned serious. Her father suffered from epilepsy, making it impossible for him to care for Rose and make a living. She came to live at the children's home where she now receives the love and support she needs to thrive. Sponsorship now gives Rose access to things like a quality education and basic necessities.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
