Beula is a very smart girl who loves to read and discover new things, especially about science. In fact, because of her love for science and passion for helping others, she would like to become a nurse someday. When she is not in school, Beula enjoys playing soccer with her friends. When Beula's father died from lung cancer, her mother was left to care for their four children on her own. She found occasional work as a farm laborer but was unable to pay for adequate housing, education, or even food for them. In order to give them a better life, she eventually took them to a children's home. Because of sponsorship, Beula will have access to things like nutritious meals and a quality education.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
