Isak is a smart and kind young boy who enjoys playing soccer outside with his friends. He is a hard worker in school, and he especially loves learning about the world in his science class. Isak has big dreams of becoming a professional soccer player when he grows up.
Isak‘s parents work hard to provide for all of his needs but it is not easy. His father labors long hours as a farmer in their village while his mother works to maintain their home. They also supplement their income by weaving baskets to sell at the market. Unfortunately, they still struggle financially. Through sponsorship, Isak will receive things like nutritious meals and a continuing education.
