Kareena is a confident, outgoing girl who has no trouble making new friends. She is mature for her age and often helps her parents take care of her younger brother. In her free time, Kareena can often be found playing games with the other children in her neighborhood or daydreaming about becoming an engineer when she grows up. Kareena has grown up in a poor, crowded settlement of families who were traditionally snake charmers and street performers. Now that these sideshow acts are no longer profitable, her parents must beg or work labor jobs in order to survive. Sponsorship now gives Kareena access to things like medical care, nutritious food, and educational assistance.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
