Ruben is a sweet and humble boy who enjoys playing and making new friends. Even at such a young age, he has already shown a keen interest in his studies and particularly likes his Nepali language class. When he grows up, Ruben would like to share his love of learning by becoming a teacher in the community. Ruben comes from a very poor family. While his father works as a driver, he only makes enough income to buy basic necessities like food and clothing and cannot afford a quality education for his son. Through sponsorship, Ruben will receive things like school fees and supplies.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
