A friendly and active girl, Salomi can often be found reading or singing for her family and friends. Although she is still very young, she enjoys her studies and particularly likes her English class. Because of her love for learning, Salomi would like to become a teacher someday. Salomi's father passed away several years ago, leaving her mother to care for the family on her own. With no special skills or education, her mother struggles to find work. Her small and inconsistent income is barely enough to cover basic needs like food and clothing, and she cannot afford an education for her children. Through sponsorship, Salomi will receive things like school fees, uniforms, and supplies.

Receive your welcome packet in the mail with more info on your child
Continue giving monthly or annually to meet your child's needs and write letters to stay in touch
Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
