Joseph is a humble, well-behaved young boy who loves to sing and draw in school. He is strong and capable, and likes to assist his mother at home by fetching water. In the future, Joseph hopes to become a teacher so he can help educate the children in his village. Joseph's mother takes care of the home and his father does petty jobs in their village to earn a small income. Even though his father works hard, he often cannot provide basic necessities or cover education costs. Sponsorship will now provide Joseph with things like nutritious food, durable clothing, and a continuing education.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
