Through your generous response to our 2013 Christmas campaign, your sponsored children celebrated Christmas as they were treated to a delicious meal and received gifts such as shoes and clothing. For some children, this was their first time opening a Christmas present . . . it was a special moment for all!
During the festivities, they also participated in soccer games and other cultural activities, all the while enjoying fellowship with one another. They also rejoiced and experienced the benefits of a newly drilled well in their village. There were many reasons to celebrate Christmas this year!
Our international partners were committed to share the love of Christ with these boys and girls. The children listened eagerly as they heard the Christmas story and spent time reflecting on the true meaning of Christmas . . . the hope that came to the world through the birth of Christ. And in response to hearing the message of the Gospel, 22 children accepted Christ into their lives. What an incredible victory in Honduras this Christmas and a powerful reason to celebrate as a community!

As the children read your Christmas cards and opened their gifts, they were reminded of how much their sponsors love and care for them.
