Transformational Aid provides ongoing support beyond basic emergency relief. Partnerships with generous corporations, manufacturers, and relief organizations allow us to distribute high-quality products to those in need.

Your investment is already at work benefitting the Perez family, who lives in Rio Hondo, Guatemala, and recently received a new mattress:

The five Perez children have slept on a pile of shared blankets their entire lives. With limited food and a long walk to school, a good night of rest is incredibly important for these children. Now, they have a soft mattress and a better night’s sleep to look forward to before a day of learning.

“Thank you so much for all your help and for being part of the change in the lives of the Guatemalan people,” said Fernanda.

Your generosity also provided shoes to two children in Rio Hondo.

Since their mother abandoned them, Juan and Lesbia’s father has struggled to provide for their family. They live a long walking distance from school, and until recently, Juan and Lesbia were often forced to walk barefoot. After receiving a brand new pair of shoes, they can now walk everywhere more comfortably.

CRISIS RELIEF

 
Crisis Relief in the form of food, water, bedding, shelter, and medical supplies are vital in emergency crisis situations.

You made it possible to ship 42 containers of life-saving supplies this year to the countries of Guatemala, Honduras, Zimbabwe, Iraq, Nepal, and Jordan.

Middle East

 
Because of your investment, a refugee family living in a remote area of the Middle East received life-saving care. After gratefully receiving food, this family told our partners that your support was the only aid their entire village had received throughout the conflict.

Palwan Tah, a 31-one-year old man from the village said, “It helped us feed many handicap children, [and] old people [who] don’t receive the right care . . . God bless you all for helping us. It really came at the right time in such a harsh winter.”

Nigeria

 
In Nigeria, Boko Haram has committed acts of terrible violence—abducting children, killing mercilessly, and targeting Christians. Two million Nigerians have been forced to flee for their lives. In the midst of chaos and overwhelming need, you have been able to see the woman running for her life, the terrified child taken far from home, and the husband grieving for his slaughtered family.

One man, whose body is visibly scarred after a Boko Haram attack, has people ask him daily how he had the strength to survive against such evil. His reply has always been: “Not me . . . it is God in me.”

Another man barely survived after terrorists attacked him in his home because he would not renounce his Christian faith and worship Allah.

Through your investment, meals and other emergency aid have been distributed to individuals who have been displaced from their homes. You are also empowering our partner to provide school lessons for displaced children.
