Cristian is an active, cheerful young boy who loves to paint and play with friends. At home, his responsibilities include sorting and putting away toys, and his favorite foods are cheese, beans, and chicken. In the future, Cristian hopes to become a police officer so he can protect and serve the people in his village. Cristians mother is a stay-at-home mom, and his father works long hours as an assistant bricklayer to earn a small income. The family lives with Cristians grandmother in an adobe house with only the most basic utilities.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
