Jehovah is a shy boy who likes to draw or play soccer with just a few friends. He loves being able to go to school and has taken a special interest in learning English. With a brave spirit and passion for helping others, Jehovah hopes to become a police officer when he grows up. Jehovah's father drowned in a tragic accident, leaving his mother to care for the three children on her own. Overwhelmed, she sent the children to live with their elderly grandmother and left to marry another man. Since Jehovah's grandmother was unable to work and provide for him, she eventually took him to a nearby children's home. Sponsorship now gives him access to things like a quality education and nutritious meals.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
