Ramtharmawi is a sweet girl known for her success in school and her beautiful singing voice. She does especially well in her science class and hopes to use her education to become a doctor when she grows up. For now, she simply enjoys playing soccer and spending time with her friends. Ramtharmawi's father drowned in a tragic accident several years ago, and her mother abandoned the family shortly afterward. Ramtharmawi's elderly grandmother took her and her two siblings in for a short time, but she struggled to provide for them and eventually had to take them to a children's home. Sponsorship now gives her access to things like a quality education, nutritious meals, and basic medical care.
