Meet Max

ID: INDGCP504

Max is a sweet boy known for his friendly personality and academic achievements. He is one of the top students in his class and particularly excels in science. His greatest dream is to one day go to college and become a doctor in his community. When he is not studying, Max enjoys drawing and playing games with his friends. Max's parents did not have the opportunity to finish school themselves, so they both work as farm laborers and make barely enough income to buy food and basic necessities. In order to give Max more opportunities, they decided to send him to school at a nearby children's home. Sponsorship now gives Max access to things like a quality education and healthy meals.

“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”

— Lita, Kentucky

“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”

— Kayla, Virginia

“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”

— Margaret, California
