Alex is a happy boy with a big smile. He loves to play games and sports with his friends in his free time. Alex is too young for school, but he goes to nursery school while his mother works. He enjoys playing with other boys and girls and always looks forward to learning new rhymes. Alexs life has been deeply influenced by poverty. His father was electrocuted in an accident when Alex was very small. His mother now provides for them, but since she is uneducated, she earns very little. She struggles to even provide her children with two meals a day. Sponsorship now gives Alex access to things like a quality education and nutritious meals.
