Sheetal is a sociable, outgoing girl who loves to play tag, soccer, and other games. Because there is no school in their community, she spends her days visiting her friends, spending time with her brothers, and helping her parents with chores around the house. Sheetal says she wants to become a nurse when she grows up so she can help sick people feel better. Sheetal has been familiar with poverty her entire life. Her parents struggle to find consistent work, so they much search each day for low-paying labor jobs and are sometimes forced to go begging just to survive. Sponsorship now gives Sheetal access to things like medical care, nutritious food, and educational assistance.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
