Pooja is a playful, energetic girl who can often be found dancing or playing games with the other children in her neighborhood. She enjoys learning new things and looks up to her older siblings as some of her greatest role models. When she grows up, Pooja would like to become an engineer. Pooja has faced many obstacles in her young life because of poverty. Her parents never had an opportunity to earn an education, so they are limited to working low-paying labor jobs. Frequently, they struggle to afford even the most basic necessities. Sponsorship now gives Pooja access to things like medical care, nutritious food, and educational assistance.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
