Meet Ashwin

ID: INDYNM017

Ashwin?s kind, obedient spirit is a blessing to his parents and all who know him. He easily makes new friends and gets along well with almost everyone. Ashwin spends his days helping his sister with chores around the house and playing games with the other boys in his community. When he grows up, he wants to become a firefighter. For generations, Ashwin?s family worked as snake charmers and street performers. However, since these sideshow acts are less profitable than they used to be, his parents must now resort to difficult labor work and begging in order to survive. Sponsorship now gives Ashwin access to things like medical care, nutritious food, and educational assistance.

“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”

— Lita, Kentucky

“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”

— Kayla, Virginia

“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”

— Margaret, California
