Kundan is an energetic and fun boy who loves to play with his older brother and his friends in his neighborhood. Kundan has not been able to go to school yet, but he looks forward to gaining an education and brightening his future. When he grows up, Kundan wants to become a teacher so he can help other people learn, too. According to the traditional caste system, Kundan?s family is limited to working only as snake charmers and street performers. However, these sideshow acts are not profitable, so his parents often resort to begging to provide for their sons? basic needs. Sponsorship now gives Kundan access to things like medical care, nutritious food, and educational assistance.
