Maniram is a sweet little boy who loves spending time with his older sister. She is one of his greatest role models and he can often be found following her around the neighborhood and copying everything she does. Maniram says he wants to become a doctor when he grows up so he can help sick people feel better. Maniram comes from a long line of snake charmers and street performers. However, since these acts are no longer as profitable as they once were and since his parents never received an education, they are limited to working low-paying labor jobs. Sponsorship now gives Maniram access to things like medical care, nutritious food, and educational assistance.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
