Piya is a very outgoing, sociable little girl. She loves entertaining her two older sisters and enjoys assisting her parents with simple chores around the house. Since she has a passion for helping people, she hopes to become a nurse when she grows up. For generations, Piya?s family earned their living as snake charmers and street performers. However, these acts are no longer profitable as they once were, and her parents have no training in any other career. They do their best to provide for her as manual laborers, but they make only a small, inconsistent income. Sponsorship now gives Piya access to things like medical care, nutritious food, and educational assistance.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
