Ishika is a friendly little girl with a beautiful smile. Despite her young age, she is always eager to help others in whatever way she can, whether assisting by her parents with chores at home or helping out when one of her friends becomes sick. When she grows up, Ishika hopes to become a police officer in her community. Ishika knows well what it means to live in extreme poverty. Because of her family?s low social caste, they are forced to live in a crowded slum, and her parents must do difficult manual labor for only minimal wages. Sponsorship now gives Ishika access to things like medical care, nutritious food, and educational assistance.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
