Stephen is a spirited little boy who is full of joy and laughter. He makes friends easily and is a natural leader, frequently organizing games with his classmates. He loves going to preschool and especially likes his language class. Although he doesn't know yet what he wants to be when he grows up, he knows that he wants to do something to help other people. When Stephen was just a baby, his father died in a tragic accident, and his mother drowned only three years later, leaving him an orphan. With no parental support, he was taken to a children's home where he could be loved and cared for in a nurturing environment. Sponsorship now gives Stephen access to things like a quality education and nutritious meals.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
