Brenda's family knows her as a shy girl who loves to care for others. Her dream is to become a singer, so she works very hard in school and practices singing often. Brenda's favorite thing to learn in school is new nursery rhymes, and she looks forward to growing and learning more. Brenda's life has not been an easy one. Her father passed away from an accident with an electrical current, leaving her mother to care for six children alone. Brenda's mother is uneducated, which means she is forced to work low-paying and unstable jobs. Sponsorship now gives Brenda access to things like a quality education and basic necessities.

Why sponsor a child?
“Child sponsorship is very rewarding because you know you're making a difference for that child. But the blessing you will receive far surpasses even the difference you make in the children's lives. You will see God at work!”
— Lita, Kentucky
“Sponsoring two little girls from Guatemala has changed the way I see life. As Christ-followers, we are called to love God and love others. I believe that we love God through loving others, and child sponsorship gives us the opportunity to do that.”
— Kayla, Virginia
“I believe child sponsorship is a way to touch the future. It's important to invest in the next generation, both here and around the world.”
— Margaret, California
